Welcome to Sparkea. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sparkea website and services ("Sparkea", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Sparkea you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Sparkea.

1. What Sparkea is

Sparkea is a public platform where people publish startup ideas and the community validates them through votes and discussion. It is a place for sharing and discovering ideas — not a marketplace, an investment platform, or a legal registry of authorship.

2. Your ideas become public — read this carefully

Publishing an idea on Sparkea is a voluntary public disclosure. Anyone on the internet can read, discuss, build upon, or independently pursue any idea posted here. Sparkea provides no confidentiality, no patent-style protection, and no exclusivity for published ideas.

• Do not post anything you want to keep secret or intend to patent — public disclosure may affect patentability in many jurisdictions.
• Posting an idea does not create any legal claim of ownership over the concept itself.
• Sparkea is not responsible if someone implements an idea you published.

3. Your content and license to us

You keep whatever rights you have in the text you post (ideas, comments, profile info). By posting, you grant Sparkea a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as part of operating and promoting the platform. This license exists so we can show your idea to other users — it does not make us the owner of your text.

If you delete your account, your profile data is erased, but your published ideas and comments remain visible under an anonymous name (see the Privacy Policy).

4. Accounts and eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Sparkea.
• You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure.
• One person — one account. Vote manipulation through multiple accounts is prohibited.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to post or do anything that violates our Community Rules, including:

• spam, advertising unrelated to a genuine idea, or link farming;
• illegal content or ideas whose implementation would be illegal;
• harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks;
• impersonation of other people or organizations;
• automated scraping, vote manipulation, or attempts to disrupt the service.

6. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, hide (close), or remove content that violates these Terms or the Community Rules, and may suspend or ban accounts for violations. Moderation decisions are made at our discretion; the states an idea can be in are described in the Guidelines.

7. Disclaimers

Sparkea is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Ideas and comments are user-generated content and do not represent our views. Nothing on Sparkea is business, investment, or legal advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including damages related to other users implementing published ideas.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. For significant changes we will notify registered users (by email or an in-app notice) before the changes take effect. Continuing to use Sparkea after that means you accept the updated Terms.
